What Is Falun Gong
(Falun Dafa)?

Falun Gong (also known as Falun Dafa) is an advanced self-cultivation practice of mind and body. The practice consists of meditation; four gentle, easy-to-learn exercises; and moral teachings based on the core principles: Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance. Falun Gong is practiced in more than 80 countries by people of all ages and walks of life. Volunteers provide instruction and maintain practice sites free of charge. Participation does not require any obligations.

Five Falun Gong Exercises

1Buddha Stretching a Thousand Arms
With gentle stretching movements, the first exercise opens all of the body’s energy channels.
second exercise
2Falun Standing Stance
Comprised of four still positions, each held for several minutes, the second exercise boosts energy levels and awakens wisdom.
third exercise
3Penetrating the Cosmic Extremes
With gentle hand-gliding movements, this exercise purifies the body using energy from the universe.
fourth exercise
4Falun Cosmic Circuit    
With hand movements that trace over the entire body, front and back, this exercise rectifies abnormal conditions and circulates energy.

5Strengthening Higher Abilities
The seated meditation incorporates mudra and hand positions to refine the body and mind. It strengthens higher abilities and energy.
